BRISBANE HEAT PLAYERS JIMMY PEIRSON AND BEN CUTTING TO ATTEND JUNIOR TRAINING CLINIC in TOWNSVILLE
For the first time, Townsville will hold a Brisbane Heat Junior Heat Clinic, giving the opportunity for the regions young budding cricketers the chance to not only train the Heat way, but share the cricket field and get coaching tips from Heat players Jimmy Peirson and Ben Cutting.
Cutting and Peirson will be in Townsville attending the clinic on the Wednesday passing on their knowledge and tips to possibly a future generation of Heat players.
The clinics are conducted by Queensland Cricket accredited coaches and are open to boys and girls of all cricketing abilities aged 8 – 14 and will be held in Townsville from the 19-21 January 9am – 1pm.
“The clinics are designed to develop basic techniques covering all forms of cricket as well as highlighting the innovations that have come with the growth of T20 cricket “said Tony Hampson Queensland Cricket Regional Development Manager – Central and Northern Queensland. “The emphasis will be on improving individual skills, while at the same time having fun and gaining maximum enjoyment from playing the game” says Tony.
Clinic Players will receive
- – 4 hours per day of quality coaching.
- – Official Junior Heat Shirt.
- – Junior Heat sample bag.
- – Team photo and autograph signing with Brisbane Heat players.
- – Morning tea each day.
